Ordering & Eligibility
Is it legal to buy ammunition online?
Yes — in most U.S. states, adults can legally purchase ammunition online and have it shipped directly to their door. Some states and cities require shipment to a licensed dealer (FFL) or have additional permit requirements. Our checkout automatically flags restrictions that apply to your shipping address before you pay.
How old do I need to be to order?
Federal law requires you to be at least 18 to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 to purchase handgun ammunition. By placing an order you certify that you meet the age requirement for the products in your cart, and we verify age on every order.
Do you ship to my state?
We ship to every state where direct ammunition shipment is legal. States with additional requirements (such as California, New York, Illinois, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Jersey) may require delivery to a licensed dealer or proof of a valid permit. Details are on our Shipping Policy page.
Shipping & Delivery
How fast will my order ship?
In-stock orders placed before 2:00 PM EST on a business day typically leave our warehouse within 1–2 business days. You will receive a tracking number by email the moment your label is created.
Is shipping really discreet?
Yes. Every order ships in plain, unmarked packaging with no indication of the contents. The shipping label shows only our fulfillment address.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — orders over $250 ship free. Standard shipping rates for smaller orders are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
Payments & Security
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards along with the additional payment options shown at checkout. All transactions are processed over an encrypted connection — we never store your full card details on our servers.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption, never sell your data, and only share order information with the carriers who deliver your package. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Returns & Issues
Can I return ammunition?
For safety and legal reasons, ammunition that has left our custody cannot be restocked and resold. We accept returns of unopened, unshipped orders cancelled before dispatch, and we make it right on any order that arrives damaged, short, or incorrect — at no cost to you. What if my order arrives damaged?
Photograph the packaging and contents as received and email support@ammoshooters.com within 48 hours of delivery. We will replace the affected items or refund you — whichever you prefer.
How do I track my order?
Your shipping confirmation email contains a live tracking link. If you have not received tracking within 3 business days of ordering, contact us and we will chase it down.
